ILLUSTRATION FOR THE 426th AERO SQUADRON
I designed this playful illustration for the 426th Aero Squadron t-shirts. The client specifically requested something “goofy,” and with their love of dogs in mind, a concept quickly took shape in my mind: a dog flying a plane.
I used AI tools like Adobe Firefly to explore concept variations; several generated images (shown below) helped guide the overall direction of the final piece, which was created in Adobe Illustrator.
Bright colors and whimsical details, such as aviator sunglasses and a tongue hanging out in the wind, bring energy and humor to the illustration. The result is a vibrant, eye-catching design that reflects the fun spirit the client was looking for.
